Six dollars poorer, and a lesson well learned
I finished my AP Bio summer work a few days ago, a fully typed 48-pages of notes on animal and plant systems. To celebrate, I proceeded to my local "Half Priced" bookstore, which also happens to sell video games. I purchased a game and went about my daily errands. I opened the box several hours later, and it was empty. I went back to the store and the kindly let me exchange it for another. I brought the game home, and turns out, it sucks. I had, of course, lost the receipt, so that by my third trip to pick up a decent game "Neverwinter Nights Gold," for those who care, I was out approximatly six dollars and fifty cents. I mark it as a learning experience; always keep the reciept and always check the box.
